  • Early Bird Registration: August 30 - October 31, 2024

  • Regular Registration: November 1 - December 31, 2024
  • Extended Registration:  January 1 - March 16, 2025
    • Still time to join the race if you missed the earlier deadlines!
  • Last-Minute Registration: March 17 - March 22, 2025
    • For those making a last-minute decision to race, secure your spot just in time!

Can't make it to Charlottesville on race day? No problem! Join us for the Charlottesville Ten Miler Virtual Race. Register for the virtual option on RunSignUp, and complete your 10 miles between March 21 - March 25, 2025! Learn more here. ​

​How Do I Register Using My 2024 Deferral?
Click here for instructions on how to claim and use your 2024 deferral for the 2025 race.
  • You MUST register for the 2025 race through your RunSignup profile (the person icon next to blue donate button) to claim your 2024 deferral. 
  • 2024 deferrals can be used for either the in-person or virtual event.
  • DO NOT use the 'Sign Up' button at the top or middle of the page to register for the race.  YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE RACE!
  • 2024 deferrals are NOT automatically registered for the 2025 race.
  • If you are being charged an entry fee, please do not finish the registration process.  Email Karen to help with the process.
  • If you do not have a deferral option, either you never registered for the 2024 race, you never went through the deferral process or there is a glitch in the system.  If you believe you DO have a deferral from the 2024 race, please email Karen to figure out the issue. ​
  • If you register for the 2025 race and decide you need to defer, deferrals must be submitted by Friday, March 1, 2025 11:59PM EST.

Entry fees are non-refundable; race numbers cannot be transferred to another person. No exceptions. This means once we have received your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate, and you may not give or sell your number to anyone else. Anyone found participating with another person’s number will be disqualified and both people will be barred from future Charlottesville Ten Milers.

You may defer your registration to the 2026 Charlottesville 10 Miler for a $15.00 fee if done before 3/9/2025.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

NO dogs or strollers allowed on the course.
