See this link for directions and a virtual drive-through of the intersection.
 
  • Bibs will be in ALPHABETICAL ORDER.
  • Plan to pick-up your race packet (bib #, t-shirt, bag) at Packet Pick-up on Friday.
  • When you get your bib, make sure to check your name, gender and age on the bib. If there are any errors, please come to the information desk to fix them. Uncorrected errors could have an impact on the results
  • You may pick-up for friends or family members, no documents needed. 
  • Please do your best to pick-up your bib Friday evening.

Had your packet mailed and did not receive it? 
​
We’ll have to assign you a new bib number.  Come to either the registration desk at Friday’s packet pickup or the service desk within JPJ race morning. This will be a quick and very simple process.
 
We will be collecting items for Louisa County Animal Shelter. 
​Currently, the Shelter is fortunate enough to have plenty of cat and dog food.  Please considering bringing one of the following item for the shelter:
  • Cat or dog treats – especially dog bones.
  • Dog toys – items the dogs can chew
  • Stuffed animals/toys (new or used)
  • Towels, blankets or pillows – these items do not need to be new

7:15AM Race Start
On Massie Road Between JPJ and the McCue Center
 
Road Closures
MASSIE ROAD WILL BE CLOSED from Emmet Road to Copeley Road start at 6:00AM and continue to 7:30AM for safety reasons.
 
There are multiple alternative ways to parking, please see this link.
  • From points north of JPJ on Emmet Street: turn RIGHT on Copeley Road immediately after the Taco Bell.
  • From points north of JPJ on Barracks Road: right on Millmont Street (behind Barracks Road Shopping Center), right on Arlington Blvd., left on Massie Road (you’ll drive by the Darden School), left at the light still on Massie.
  • From points South of JPJ: Ivy Road to Copeley Road.
  • From Route 250 Bypass: exit onto Leonard Sandridge Road to Massie Road.
  • Driving from points east of Charlottesville? Consider drive to exit 118B instead of leaving I64 at exit 120.  This will bypass driving through town.  
 
Copeley Road will be CLOSED to traffic from 7:15AM -7:35AM for the start of the race and then again from 8:00AM to 9:45AM for the finish of the race.
 
Parking:
  • NO PARKING in the lower UHall lot (aka the McCue lot) or in the Cage (far back parking lot).
  • Please park in the UHall and JPJ surface lots or the parking structure next to JPJ.
 
High-Five Counter:
  • The mentors and youth at Computer4Kids, the 2019 Beneficiary of the race, have created a one of a kind high-five counter just for the race. Click here to see picture of this awesome device.
  • Look for the high-five counter on the Downtown Mall around mile 4.5 and get your high-five counted.
 
Restrooms:
  • In JPJ at the start/finish line.
  • At mile 5/7 next to the downtown water stop.  The Pavilion bathrooms will be unlocked.  Signs will be posted at the water stop.
 
Create a Team:
  • It’s not too late to create or join a team with 3 of your friends.  How to create/join a team can be found here.

  • Top 3 Overall Male and Female
  • Top Masters Male and Female
  • Top 3% of each age group.  See this link for age group breakdown.
  • Top Mixed Gender Team
  • Top All Male Team
  • Top All Female Team
  • Top Husband/Wife Team
  • Top Masters Team
 
Post Race Food:
  • On the plaza outside of JPJ.  (Sorry, because contracts, food from the 10 Miler will not be allowed inside JPJ.)
  • Water and Gatorade will be available at the finish line.
 
MoxBox – FREE:
  • On the plaza outside of JPJ. 
  • What is MoxBox? It is an unique social photo booth experience.
  • Get a photo with your friends, with your medal, with the provide props. All photos are then put online for you to share on social media.

Medical Support:
  • Will be at all three water stops, McCormick Rd (miles 2/9), Downtown Mall (miles 5/7) and on Elliewood (mile 8.5) and the finish line.

Post Race Party: Starting at 9:30AM
Random Row Brewing Company – 608 Preston Ave, Charlottesville, VA 22903
  • Look for Random Row at about mile 4.5 on your right hand side.
  • Their new grilled cheese bar will be open.
